Welcome to Monzilla Media! My name is Jeff Starr and I am passionate about Web design, graphic design, digital photography, multimedia expression, and artistic creativity in general. I was born on April 9th, 1972 in Spokane, Washington. Growing up, I was always drawing, painting, writing, and exploring imagination and creativity. After graduating high school, I spent several years learning about and practicing art, design, photography, and multimedia (audio and video) editing and production.

Eventually, I returned to school, studying Psychology, Biology, Mathematics, and other science-related disciplines. While in school I helped establish Dead Letter Art, a highly creative art collective specializing in collaborative expression, multimedia projects, and desktop publishing. After graduating from the University of Washington with degrees in both Psychology and Biochemistry, I found myself lured into the complexities and possibilities of Web-related design and development.

Soon thereafter, I began building my online empire of websites and graphic design works. In 2005, after creating many personal sites, I launched my personal information playground at Perishable Press, where I chronicle my creative exploits and deliver high-quality digital design and dialogue to a growing number of subscribers. In addition to Perishable Press, I also developed and maintain the relatively new philosophical site, mindfeed.org, which delves into such topics as awareness, open-mindedness, relativity, religion, and other contemplative arenas.

With the release of Monzilla Media, I have officially opened the doors to my professional Web Design business. Here, I provide all of the information necessary to convince you that I am serious about Web Design. I live and breathe the stuff, and am certain that I am able to help just about anyone with their Web-related design and development needs.
